Helping greatness take root.
Supporting Turfgrass Research & Education
There is, of course, much more to grass than the nice green surface that covers our yards, golf courses, and athletic fields. Whether it’s being able to quickly maneuver from mid-field to the goal, beating par on that one tough hole, or simply having a beautiful lawn, turfgrass is about greatness. It’s about having the best and being your best. Athletes perform better and with fewer injuries. Spectators are noticeably more engaged. Lawns look nicer and help increase property values. Turfgrass reduces environmental contamination and improves both air and water quality. We work hard to help turfgrass help all of us.
There’s a lot beneath the surface.
With roughly 418 million blades of grass per person on earth, there’s a lot we don’t know about grass. But through extensive research, we’re learning and finding new ways to help achieve excellence. We’ve funded the creation of turfgrass varieties that are specifically designed to help athletic performance, reduce injury potential, withstand climate fluctuations, and contribute to the earth’s water cycle.
